CRIMSON EIGHT / KL & MALAYSIA

Hotel signage, from arrival to room

Hotel signage should establish the property identity and guide guests through unfamiliar surroundings. Crimson Eight coordinates project signage enquiries for hotels and resorts, bringing exterior identity, guest directions and interior identification into a consistent scope.

The arrival sequence

Review the approach to the property, vehicle entrance, drop-off and lobby. Building lettering and entrance signs perform different roles. Consider where a first-time guest will look and what information is needed at each point, including how illuminated identification will be viewed after dark.

The guest journey

A guest may need directions from reception to the lifts, from a lift lobby to a room range, and from the room corridor to hotel amenities. Coordinate room numbers, floor markers, guest directories and directional messages so the sequence remains clear.

Materials and interior coordination

Review sign samples against the actual wall finishes and lighting. Confirm mounting surfaces, fixing details and cleaning considerations with the project team. An elegant material selection still needs readable lettering and a suitable contrast with its surroundings.

Completed hospitality work

The archive includes Holiday Inn Bangsar facade lettering and night-time building identification, together with Pan Pacific entrance-canopy and upper-facade signage. These photographs document exterior identification; they do not imply that every sign type described on this page was supplied for those properties.
